I attended today’s meeting of the Plaza 16 Coalition where the upcoming Community Forum and the creation of a neighborhood merchants group, Pueblo 16 Merchants, was discussed.

The community forum on the proposed development for the 16th/Mission BART Plaza has been scheduled for Thursday, May 15th, from 6 to 8:00 pm at the Victoria Theater across the street. This will be an opportunity to learn more about the project and it’s impact on our neighborhood. Please plan to attend.

The Pueblo 16 Merchants group is now forming around their opposition to the proposed development. Visits with merchants and other outreach efforts were discussed.

The Plaza 6 Coalition meetings are open to all and take place ever Wednesday at noon at PODER, 474 Valencia Street, Room 105.
